Temmink's Tragopan Taxidermy on Black Base

Named 'the longevity pheasant,' this colorful bird is considered to be good fortune in the Chinese culture. Related to the pheasant, it lives in Southern part of Chinese Tibet, Vietnam and Myanmar. The male has a bare blue facial skin, and an inflatable dark-blue lappet. This male once lived in an Italian zoo. 16"L x 7"D x 14 1/2"H.
