Inspired by movement of the fern blossom, Rene Lalique created the Tourbillons design in 1926. Its curves stunningly follow the rhythm of light, drawing the eye into swirls of crystal. The designer founded his firm in Paris in 1885, and soon became a celebrated Art Nouveau jeweler. In the 1920s, he developed a cutting-edge glassmaking technique that would become the foundation of this enduring brand. 9 1/2" diam. x 10 1/2"H. Made in France.
