In Asian cultures, the cherry flower symbolizes life, beauty and the coming of spring; the blooming cherry blossoms brings a sense of vitality and vibrancy. Heralding the arrival of the new season, our distinctive cast-iron teapot features skillfully carved cherry flowers on the body and lid. The vibrant shade of green is achieved by baking the base color and then applying its top coat. The interior has an enamel coating to prevent rust; a drop-in aluminum infuser allows for the removal of tea leaves after use. And because our teapot is iron, it can be used for decades — sometimes for generations — and ages beautifully over time.
