The cooperation between Vista Alegre and the Palácio Nacional da Ajuda results on a colorful collection with great historical and cultural value. Paco Real is inspired by a dinnerware bearing 19th century coat of arms belonging to the palace, which was the home of the Portuguese royal family since the reign of King Luís (1861-1889) until the end of the monarchy (1910). Founded in 1824 by José Ferreira Pinto Basto, Vista Alegre is a storied Portuguese brand celebrated for its expertly crafted glassware and ceramics.
